Join us in 2008 at the picturesque Myrtleford Showgrounds on the Yackandandah Road.
An important date in your diary (October 25, 2008) you'll find a vast array of attractions to keep the whole family entertained.
Join us this year for a range of attractions including the Wangaratta Pipe Band, featuring Paddy, the Drum Horse and Mike Salmon, his owner. Paddy was a Drum Horse known as Gendarme VIII with the Victoria Police over many years. He has performed with Police Bands at ceremonial parades and vice regal and State occasions. He served a total of 23 years with Victoria Police. Paddy is now retired and living with Mike in north-east Victoria.
Competitions are always intense between the various sections of the Show. Horse riding & show jumping, wood chopping, dog jumping, whip cracking, cattle and beef sections, chooks and animal nursery events all attract great crowds. Or come along and look at the fabulous displays in the Pavilion - horticulture, cooking, needlework, crochet, knitting, junior arts & craft and wine, photography & art will keep you entertained for hours.
It's an event for the whole family and the kids will love the Show Bags, face painting and rides.
